Dr. Seuss Week - Day 5 - Cat in the Hat

Today was the big day - Dress like Cat in the Hat! And boy did we! We had all kinds of cat, bows, and outfits! Our Student Council sponsored Cat in the Hat face painting for $1 per cheek and we had two guest readers to help us celebrate our special week!

You might wonder where so many students got those Cat in the Hat hats. Well, I buy a large quantity of them, then I sell them every morning of Dr. Seuss Week. We sold 87 this year!
Our first guest reader read The Cat in the Hat Comes Back!

The group that he read to!

Our second reader!
She shared how important reading and math are to our students!

The second grade Things! (minus one who was absent)

Our visiting dog was a good listener for the guest reader!
Kindergarten made Dr. Seuss bowties!
