Kindergarten Snowmen

I read the cutest book with our kindergarten class.
The book is about a boy who can't wait for it to snow. He waits from November until March and still no snow, so he has to get creative when making snowmen! The kindergarteners got creative with their snowmen as well! Oh, and you won't believe what happens in the book in April:)

The kindergarteners first counted out 20 cotton balls and put them in their coffee creamer bottle. These bottles are perfect for snowmen! They are shaped like a snowman body and the red lid is an instant hat! The next step was to tie a precut scarf around the neck.

We then moved to the tables where they glued on an orange triangle nose and drew the rest of the face on with a Sharpie (and their name on the back with the Sharpie). The last step was drawing and cutting three circles to be the buttons on the front.

Look at the tiny circles that this guy cut and was able to get glue on! Good job!

They were very diligent!

The finished products! Great job kindergarteners!!

She is showing off her snowman AND her library book:)

These students are super sweet and they love to check out books in the library!!
Happy Reading!
